Every week we study a letter of the week, and do several different activities relating to our letter of the week and we also work on our shapes, colors and numbers. These are incorporated into our everyday work and play.
We study different science units every two weeks. Some of the topics include the study of weather, dinosaurs, insects, plants and penguins.
We have several field trips during the year.
We do a cooking project approximately once a month.
The children are taught scissor skills, and do most of their own cutting and gluing.
Small motor skills are also encouraged with lacing, playdoh and other manipulatives.
Manners are also an important part of our curriculum.
